The Chroma as a 8200 dpi sensor and the Naga epic has a 5600 dpi sensor. The Naga epic/Chroma battery last's most of the day if surfing the web or lightly gaming while if i game all day on both i had to put them in wired mode but you will be charging them at night. I didnt experiences any lag from the mice while using them in wireless mode. You'll have to try out each mouse to see which one you like better, i personally like them both.The thumb grid on the Chroma has a different shaped button in the center of each row while the Naga epic has a line along the bottom of the second and fourth row so you ca tell the difference, the buttons on the Chroma are lighter than on the Naga epic. Now both mice feel good in the hand and the coating feels the same on both, they are the same size. Both mice feel the same weight wise, the left and right clicks on the Chroma feel a tad lighter than the Naga epic's. Both mice are RGB, the Chroma has a tilt scroll wheel and the wheel is lighter to scroll and to push down. The Naga epic battery is removable while the Chroma's isn't. The right side of the Naga Epic are interchangeable, while the Chroma are not, the Naga epic has a switch on the bottom to choose from the number pad and the 123 on the top row of the keyboard.

The Razer Naga Epic is based off of the old design of the razer naga so it doesn't have the mechanical buttons of Chroma instead they are rubber domes, and the sides of the Naga epic are shiny plastic so they collect skin from your hands and the Chroma has matte sides.
